How to Use

Extra Strength isn't automatically better. The original Bioactive Solution contains 3% glycolic acid at pH 3.13, while Extra Strength increases the glycolic acid to 5% at pH 3.0. Both contain 0.75% salicylic acid.

That relatively small-looking difference can produce noticeably more exfoliation. We think of Extra Strength as a step-up option, not necessarily a better option. If your skin is doing well with the original Bioactive Solution, there is no reason to increase the strength simply because you can.

Biophora corrective products are often intentionally layered within a complete routine. Because Extra Strength is already an active leave-on exfoliant, the rest of your routine matters when deciding how frequently to use it.

A more intensive leave-on corrective toner formulated with 5% glycolic acid and 0.75% salicylic acid to target congestion, uneven texture, excess oil and visible discolouration.

With a pH of 3.0, Extra Strength provides stronger glycolic exfoliation than the original Bioactive Solution. Salicylic acid provides additional pore-clearing exfoliation, while kojic acid and sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable vitamin C derivative, support a brighter, more even-looking complexion.

Designed for skin that is already comfortable with corrective acids and needs a step up from the original Bioactive Solution.
