The Experience

What can I expect from my first visit?

A calm, intentional experience focused on your skin. We are NOT a one-size-fits-all treatment. We take the time to understand what your skin actually needs before beginning.

Will my treatment be customized?

Always.

No two treatments are exactly the same (although our hair removal series are pretty consistent). Everything is adjusted in real time based on how your skin responds.

Is this a relaxing or results-focused experience?

Results are always our priority, but we aim to make every treatment as comfortable as possible. Some services may involve brief discomfort, but that’s part of achieving the best results. Your skin’s safety and your comfort are always considered throughout.

Will I know what to expect during my treatment?

Yes.

We guide you through every step. You’ll always know what’s happening, and what sensations to expect. Transparency is part of ensuring both comfort and results.

Your Skin Journey

Where should I start if I’m unsure?

A great place to start is with a consultation or a customized facial. This lets us understand your skin, discuss your goals, and create a plan that’s intentional and tailored just for you. You’ll leave feeling confident about the next steps.

How long does it take to see real change?

Some results, like increased radiance or smoother texture, can be noticeable immediately due to surface-level improvements. Treatments that stimulate collagen and other structural proteins work over time.

Remodeling occurs over 4–6 weeks, and optimal results are usually seen several weeks after completing a full treatment series. Once the series is complete, we shift to a maintenance schedule to support ongoing skin health and preserve results.

Will I need ongoing treatments?

It depends on your skin goals and your starting point. Most treatments provide the best results when performed in a planned series, allowing your skin to remodel and respond optimally. Some clients may need an extra treatment or two to reach their goals, while others achieve their desired results after a single series. Once your goals are met, we transition to a maintenance schedule to preserve results and support long-term skin health.

Can my lifestyle or at-home routine affect my results?

Yes.

Factors like sleep, stress, nutrition, and your daily skincare routine can influence how quickly and effectively your skin responds to treatments. We’ll guide you on what habits support your results so you get the most out of every session.

Treatment Approach

How do you decide what my skin needs?

We assess your skin as it is that day: its texture, sensitivity, and any underlying concerns. From there, we select treatments that suit your current condition and overall goals, adjusting in real time to ensure both safety and effectiveness.

Do you ever turn treatments away or modify them?

Yes.

While we always aim to get you the best results possible, we only do so when it’s safe and we’ve learned how your skin responds. If a treatment isn’t appropriate on the day, we’ll modify it or wait until your skin is ready.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your skin’s starting point and goals. Some clients reach their desired results after a single series, while others may need an extra session or two.

A planned series includes a timeline, allowing us to treat your skin at the optimal intervals - this “stacking” of treatments maximizes results from a series.

After completing the series, we recommend transitioning to a maintenance schedule to support long-term skin health.

Can treatments be combined?

Yes.

Some treatments can be safely combined to address multiple concerns at once. For example, we might pair a surface-level treatment like laser for pigmentation with a deeper treatment like microneedling for collagen stimulation, targeting both tone and texture at the same time.

At certain times of the year, we may propose specific combinations to address common seasonal concerns, always considering your skin’s sensitivity and overall health to ensure it’s safe and effective.

Skin Health Philosophy

Do I need to change my skincare routine?

Yes and no.

Many clients can continue most of their usual routine, but we always evaluate whether your current products are actually helping you reach your skin goals.

Around treatments, we may adjust certain products or timing to maximize results and protect your skin; for example, pausing strong exfoliants or actives for a few days, or adding a supportive serum or moisturizer.

Recommendations are always tailored to your skin type, treatments, and overall goals.

Why isn’t more always better when it comes to skin?

Because your skin has limits.

Overdoing treatments or products can irritate, inflame, or disrupt your skin barrier, which not only slows progress but also makes desired results less predictable.

We focus on the right treatments at the right time, giving your skin a chance to respond, recover, and build on results safely. Quality, consistency, and timing always trump quantity.

Why do you focus on prevention as well as correction?

Because healthy skin today makes achieving long-term results easier tomorrow. While we can correct existing concerns, it’s often much easier to prevent issues than to fix them later.

That’s why we prioritise preventive care alongside targeted treatments → to slow signs of ageing, protect against environmental damage, and maintain your skin’s natural resilience. Combining prevention with correction ensures your results are lasting and predictable.

How does your philosophy adapt as my skin changes?

Because your skin is always evolving, so is our approach. We assess your skin at every visit: its texture, sensitivity, and any new concerns, and adjust treatments and recommendations accordingly.

Today’s goals might not be the same as your goals several years down the road, and we’re here for it all! We all change, grow, and evolve over time, so does your care.

Preparation & Aftercare

How should I prepare for my appointment?

A little preparation goes a long way. Ideally, arrive with clean, product-free skin, but we understand life happens, if that’s not possible, it’s absolutely fine.

For most facials, you don’t need to pause your usual active ingredients. For all other treatments, we ask that you pause actives (retinol, acids, etc.) several days beforehand.

In certain cases, we may ask you to follow a pre-procedure protocol to get your skin ready, but this would be discussed during your consultation. Think of it like preparing soil before planting a garden: starting with skin that’s as healthy as possible gives it the resources it needs to heal and flourish following more advanced treatments.

What should I avoid after my treatment?

You’ll receive post-care instructions tailored to your treatment. In general, it’s best to avoid anything that might irritate your skin → for example, harsh exfoliation, excessive heat, or strong products like retinol or acids, for a short period after your visit.

Certain treatments, like The Green Peel® Classic and microneedling, come with more specialized protocols to ensure your skin heals safely and achieves the best possible results. Following these instructions gives your skin the resources it needs to recover, respond, and show optimal results.

Will there be downtime?

It depends on the treatment. Most of our services involve little to no downtime, so you can usually return to your normal activities right away.

The exception is The Green Peel® Classic, which can involve a few days of visible peeling, redness, or sensitivity. We’ll review what to expect before your appointment and provide post-care instructions to support healing and maximise results.

How will I know if my skin is healing properly?

Your skin gives clear signals. After most treatments, you may notice mild redness, warmth, or gentle peeling, which indicate that your skin’s natural repair and regeneration processes are active. These are normal physiological responses as your skin produces new collagen, repairs cells, and restores its barrier function.

We’ll review what to expect before your appointment and provide post-care instructions so you can distinguish typical healing from anything unusual. If you notice prolonged irritation, excessive swelling, or unexpected changes, please contact us, we’ll guide you to ensure your skin heals safely and achieves optimal results.

Booking & Appointments

How do I book?

Booking is simple.

You can schedule your appointment by booking a consultation or treatment directly on our website, or by texting, calling, or emailing us.

What if I’m not sure what to book?

A consultation is the best starting point if you’re unsure which treatments are right for your skin. This allows us to customize a plan tailored to your goals and answer any questions before your first visit.

If you’d like to start seeing results right away, you can book a Woodland Reset — a customised facial where we address your skin, review your goals, and begin progress from day one.

Do I need a consultation before every treatment?

No.

If you’ve already had a consultation and your skin and goals haven’t changed significantly, you may not need one.

That said, we always assess your skin on the day to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate, and to make any adjustments as needed. This helps us deliver the best results while protecting your skin.

Can I book multiple treatments in one visit?

Yes!

In many cases, we can combine treatments in a single appointment, depending on your skin’s needs and the timing of each procedure. We also plan these combinations carefully to maximise results while keeping your skin safe and comfortable.

Seasonal specials sometimes target popular concerns with specific treatment pairings, so we may suggest certain stacks at particular times of the year.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance, especially for popular treatments or times of year. This ensures we can schedule your appointments at optimal intervals for a series of treatments and allows you to plan around your personal schedule.

You can reschedule or cancel by calling, texting, emailing, or updating your booking online. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice so we can offer the slot to someone else and keep our schedule running smoothly.
