1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or purchasing products or services from Woodland Skin Renewal (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Nature of Services & Medical Disclaimer

Woodland Skin Renewal provides cosmetic skincare treatments and professional retail skincare products.

All services are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Services provided do not establish a physician-patient relationship.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete medical and health history
  • Disclosing medications, allergies, sensitivities, and medical conditions
  • Informing us of any changes to health status
  • Following all pre- and post-treatment instructions

Failure to provide accurate information may increase the risk of adverse reactions and may void liability.

Individual results vary. No guarantees are made regarding treatment outcomes.

3. Assumption of Risk

By booking and receiving services, you acknowledge that aesthetic treatments carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Irritation
  • Bruising
  • Pigmentation changes
  • Breakouts
  • Allergic or unexpected skin reactions

You understand these risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for them.

4. Contraindications & Right to Refuse Service

Certain treatments may require a consultation or patch test prior to service.

Woodland Skin Renewal reserves the right to refuse, modify, or postpone treatment if:

  • Contraindications are present
  • Treatment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate
  • Required health information is withheld
  • Client conduct is disruptive, inappropriate, or non-compliant

Client safety is our priority.

5. Appointments & Cancellation Policy

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% fee
  • Missed appointments (no-shows) may be charged 100% of the scheduled service
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time

Repeated missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.

6. Payments & Pricing

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

  • Require deposits for certain treatments
  • Refuse service
  • Modify pricing at any time without prior notice

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (HST) will be applied where required under the laws of Ontario.

7. Retail Products

All retail product purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify pricing at any time.

8. Gift Cards & Treatment Packages

Gift cards and prepaid treatment packages:

  • Are non-refundable
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Are non-transferable unless otherwise stated

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue packages at any time.

9. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, branding, text, images, and design elements, is the property of Woodland Skin Renewal and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodland Skin Renewal shall not be liable for:

  • Adverse reactions due to undisclosed medical conditions
  • Reactions resulting from failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Treatment outcomes depend on individual skin type, health history, lifestyle factors, and adherence to recommended homecare protocols.

By receiving treatment, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with cosmetic procedures.

11. Privacy

Personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
