BIOSTIMULATION PEELS

The Renewal Peel

The Renewal Peel is an advanced, multi-acid treatment designed to stimulate your skin's natural repair processes, improving texture, fine lines, uneven tone and overall skin quality.

Little to no visible peeling and minimal downtime.

Available at Woodland Skin Renewal in North Pickering, serving Uxbridge, Claremont and surrounding Durham Region.

A DIFFERENT CHEMICAL RESPONSE

Not all acids are used to exfoliate.

We choose the mechanism based on what your skin needs next.

The Renewal Peel uses chemistry differently.

Its primary purpose is not to remove the outer layers of the epidermis. Instead, the treatment creates a controlled chemical stimulus that denatures proteins within the skin. The resulting tissue response activates processes involved in repair and remodelling.

This is biostimulation: using a controlled stimulus to trigger the skin's own biological repair and renewal processes.

If your skin is already well exfoliated with glycolic acid or retinoids, biostimulation may offer more benefit than additional exfoliation.

Modulated Monochloroacetic Acid (MCA)

Creates controlled protein denaturation. Once these proteins are damaged, the skin begins its natural repair and remodelling response.

Liposomal EGF + IGF-1

Growth factors act as signalling molecules, supporting cellular communication, tissue repair, and extracellular matrix remodelling.

KOJIC ACID + MANDELIC ACID

MCA provides the primary biostimulation, while kojic acid helps regulate pigmentation and mandelic acid provides gentle surface exfoliation.
