- Volumizing Polymers – coat the hair shaft to create body and lift, especially helpful at the root.
- Hydrolyzed Proteins – help temporarily strengthen and plump the hair fibre for a fuller feel.
- Silicones (in conditioner/leave-in) – provide slip, frizz control, softness, and heat protection without a heavy feel when formulated properly.

Volume starts at the roots - not the ends. Apply conditioner mostly from mid-lengths to ends, and keep leave-in products lighter near the scalp. Most “flat hair” complaints come from over-conditioning the root area.

For the best lift: Blow dry with your head flipped upside down for the first 60–90 seconds, then style normally. You’ll get noticeably more body without needing extra product.

Another tip: If hair feels limp even with volume products, clarify buildup occasionally. Fine hair gets weighed down faster from dry shampoo, oils, silicones, and hard water.

If you have very dry, coarse, highly bleached, or curly hair, this may not feel nourishing enough on its own and could benefit from rotating with a richer moisture mask.
